Job description

Job Summary:
The Library Student assistant will uphold the library's standard of service by thoroughly answering patron questions via a variety of platforms including phone, in-person and chat and utilize multiple software platforms to loan study room keys and library materials to patrons. Student assistant will help with special projects and events, engaging with library staff and patrons in the building. Student assistant will assist with opening and closing the library and other daily and weekly tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be a current student enrolled at Upstate Medical University and approved for financial aid through the Student Financial Aid office at Upstate.

Salary Range/Pay Rate:
$17/hour
