About the Role
As an Agent in Training, you'll work directly with clients to identify their insurance needs, recommend personalized coverage solutions, and build lasting relationships. You'll receive hands-on coaching while developing the sales, business, and leadership skills needed for long-term success within the Farmers Insurance network.
What You'll Do
  • Generate new business through referrals, networking, prospecting, and lead follow-up.
  • Meet with clients to understand their insurance needs and recommend the right coverage.
  • Sell and cross-sell Auto, Home, Life, Business, and Specialty insurance products.
  • Build long-term client relationships through exceptional service and regular policy reviews.
  • Manage leads, follow-ups, and renewals using agency CRM systems.
  • Stay current on California insurance regulations, Farmers products, and industry best practices.
  • Work toward individual and agency production goals while continuing to grow your skills.
What We're Looking For
  • Sales, customer service, or insurance experience preferred.
  • Active California Property & Casualty License preferred, or willingness to obtain.
  • California Life & Health License preferred, or willingness to obtain.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, coachable, and goal-oriented.
  • Organized with strong time management skills.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
