The Khailen Kooi Agency is looking for a motivated, people-focused Insurance Agent to join our Farmers Insurance agency in Muskegon.
This is a sales-focused opportunity for someone who enjoys connecting with people, working toward goals, and building relationships. You'll help customers understand their insurance options, recommend coverage based on their needs, and develop a client base you can continue growing over time.
Previous insurance experience is helpful, but it isn't the only background we're looking for. Experience in sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, banking, automotive, leasing, or other customer-facing roles can translate well into this position.
What You'll Do
  • Connect with prospective customers through phone, email, referrals, and agency-provided leads
  • Learn about each customer's needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions
  • Prepare quotes and sell Auto, Home, Life, Commercial, and other insurance products
  • Consistently follow up with prospects and manage an active sales pipeline
  • Build lasting relationships with new and existing customers
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional products and coverage
  • Work toward individual and agency sales goals
  • Maintain organized records of leads, conversations, and follow-ups
  • Continue developing your sales and insurance knowledge through training and coaching
What We're Looking For
