A Family Readiness Assistant (FRA) is a support staff member who works with military families to ensure they have access to resources, information, and support networks. FRAs help coordinate family readiness activities, provide information on available services, and assist with communication between military units and families. Their goal is to enhance the well-being and preparedness of service members’ families during deployments and other military-related events. FRAs often organize events, distribute newsletters, and serve as a key point of contact for families seeking assistance. They play an essential role in fostering a resilient and informed military family community.
