Job Description:
The NetSuite Technical Architect - FAM/Finance will lead the assessment, design, and optimization of NetSuite Fixed Assets Management (FAM) and Record-to-Report (R2R) processes. This role requires deep techno-functional expertise to evaluate current-state systems, perform fit-gap analysis, and define scalable, compliant future-state architecture.
The architect will partner with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and Enterprise Systems teams to deliver robust solutions across the full fixed asset lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, auditability, and alignment with business objectives.

โ€ข Lead NetSuite FAM fit-gap assessment across current processes, configurations, reports, and integrations.

โ€ข Define end-to-end future-state architecture for fixed asset lifecycle processes, including capitalization, CIP, depreciation, revaluation, transfers, and disposal.
โ€ข Evaluate interactions between FAM and upstream/downstream functions such as procurement, inventory, projects, and general ledger.
โ€ข Recommend optimal solutions using NetSuite native capabilities, configurations, workflows, SuiteScript, and integrations.
โ€ข Review financial transaction flows to ensure accurate posting logic, reconciliation, auditability, and subledger integrity.
โ€ข Identify gaps in asset accounting processes such as capitalization rules, depreciation methods, and retirement/disposal handling.
โ€ข Provide scalable design recommendations aligned with business, operational, and compliance requirements.
โ€ข Develop fit-gap deliverables, including current-state assessments, future-state designs, implementation roadmap, and risk analysis.
โ€ข Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to validate solutions and drive alignment.
โ€ข Support effort estimation, delivery planning, and implementation strategy for approved enhancements.
Qualifications
โ€ข 10+ years of ERP experience with strong specialization in NetSuite architecture and finance processes.
โ€ข Proven expertise in NetSuite FAM including depreciation, capitalization, transfers, revaluation, and disposal processes.
โ€ข Strong experience leading fit-gap assessments, workshops, and solution architecture design.
โ€ข Deep understanding of Record-to-Report (R2R) and fixed asset accounting processes.
โ€ข Ability to bridge business requirements, accounting logic, and technical solution design.
โ€ข Expertise in NetSuite platform capabilities including configuration, SuiteAnalytics, and SuiteScript.
โ€ข Knowledge of integrations, data models, and enterprise system dependencies.
โ€ข Strong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to present solutions to both technical and business stakeholders.
