What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a family therapist, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Family Therapist, you need a master's degree in counseling, psychology, or social work, along with state licensure and a deep understanding of family systems theory. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, case management software, and documentation standards is essential.
