Overview:


As Mosaic Product Manager, you will guide CMA’s Technical and Infrastructure Mosaic Product Line. This role includes responsibility for growing the market for Mosaic, increasing the profitability, and informing the process for new feature development. You will build product plans and go to market strategies based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects. The Mosaic Product Manager will also oversee CMA’s Mosaic Technical Support Team.

The Mosaic Product Manager must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand client business needs and be able to aid in the conception of innovative solutions for the broader market. The effective development of market and channel partners will be critical to your success in this role.

You must be able to communicate effectively with business and technical personnel and will work with an engineering counterpart to define product release requirements. You will also work with CMA’s Marketing team to define and articulate the go-to-market strategy, providing details concerning product positioning, key benefits, and target customers. You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product offering, working closely with the sales channel and key customers.


Typical Activities and Duties Include:

  • Managing the business development aspects of a technical-focused product line – through the full life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
  • Specifying market requirements by conducting market research supported via on-going visits to customers and prospective customers.
  • Lead and direct business development strategy and its execution.
  • Developing and implementing a business plan and go-to-market plan, working with other CMA business units to execute.
  • Analyzing, implementing and managing potential channel and sales partner relationships for the product.


Necessary Skills and Attributes:

  • 5+ years of software marketing/product and channel management experience.
  • Experience with and a strong understanding of AI.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and explain complex technology.
  • Drive to business development and sales.
  • While not required, a Computer Science or Engineering degree or relevant work experience is a strong plus.
  • Prior experience in the government marketplace is not required but is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication and presentation skills for communicating with both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work well with and lead a team of Product Managers.
  • Ability to work within a team setting.
  • Ability to develop and articulate a vision
