The Infrastructure Projects Supervising Associate โ€“ 1Badge Operations is responsible for leading the firm's 1Badge Physical Security program and supervising the team responsible for physical access control administration, secure-space governance, badge lifecycle management, biometric access controls, and physical security compliance. The role serves as the primary liaison between Physical Security, Facilities Asset Management (FAM), Workplace Experience Management (WEM), Global Security, Enterprise Technology, office leadership, and other stakeholders to ensure secure, compliant, and efficient access management across the firm's real estate portfolio.

This position provides operational leadership for physical access governance, administration of the C-Cure access control platform, biometric reader management, restricted-space access authorization, security technology coordination, and support for office construction and security modernization initiatives.

This role provides critical leadership and accountability for the firm's physical access control program, ensuring secure, compliant, and scalable access management while strengthening collaboration between Physical Security, FAM, WEM, Enterprise Technology, and Global Security. The position directly supports secure workplace operations, security modernization initiatives, and the firm's long-term real estate strategy.

Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead and supervise the day-to-day operations of the 1Badge Physical Security team.

  • Establish service delivery standards, priorities, and performance expectations.

  • Manage workload balancing, escalation resolution, and process improvement initiatives.

  • Develop operational reporting, metrics, and stakeholder communications.

  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development for team members.

Access Control Governance
  • Oversee administration and governance of the C-Cure access control system.

  • Ensure appropriate provisioning, modification, and removal of physical access permissions.

  • Conduct periodic access reviews and audits to ensure compliance with firm standards.

  • Maintain segregation of duties and access governance controls.

  • Support internal and external audit requirements related to physical security and access management.

Partnership with Facilities Asset Management (FAM)
  • Serve as the primary operational liaison between Physical Security and FAM.

  • Coordinate access provisioning and deprovisioning activities.

  • Oversee biometric access management and secure-space authorization processes.

  • Support badge reader deployments, upgrades, and troubleshooting efforts.

  • Maintain authorized personnel records and access inventories.

  • Collaborate on physical security requirements associated with office renovations, relocations, and new construction projects.

Secure Space Administration
  • Oversee administration and governance of secure spaces, restricted work environments, and biometric-controlled areas.

  • Ensure authorized personnel lists are maintained and current.

  • Coordinate access approvals for secure bays, FIS environments, and other restricted locations.

  • Ensure compliance with anti-tailgating, CCTV monitoring, and enhanced access control requirements.

  • Manage access review and removal processes for secure environments.

Badge Program Management
  • Direct all aspects of the EY 1Badge lifecycle, including issuance, replacement, activation, suspension, and deactivation.

  • Ensure timely processing of employee, contractor, and visitor access requests.

  • Manage badge-related escalations and exception requests.

  • Establish and maintain procedures for access changes and removals.

Physical Security Technology Management
  • Coordinate deployment and maintenance of physical security technologies including:

  • Partner with vendors, technology teams, and project stakeholders to support system upgrades and modernization initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with Global Security standards and physical security policies.

  • Support investigations involving access control and physical security incidents.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Business Administration, Facilities Management, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • 5โ€“8+ years of experience in physical security operations, access control administration, workplace security, facilities security, or related disciplines.

  • Experience administering enterprise access control systems such as C-Cure, Lenel, Genetec, or equivalent platforms.

  • Experience managing physical access governance and security compliance programs.

  • Strong understanding of badge management, biometric access controls, and restricted-space administration.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional partnerships and stakeholder relationships.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 2โ€“3+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience.

  • Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), or equivalent security certification.

  • Experience supporting large corporate real estate portfolios.

  • Knowledge of physical security technologies including CCTV, access control hardware, and biometric systems.

  • Experience supporting security projects, office construction initiatives, and technology refresh programs.

  • Experience with audit management, compliance reviews, and security investigations.

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $77,800 to $145,400. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $93,300 to $165,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.

  • Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
