Job Description

Assists in ensuring the day-to-day operations and various projects for the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Facilities Engineering Departments supporting the North Druid Hills campus are implemented and carried out in support of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta's mission, vision, and values. Proactively supports the combined efforts of Facilities Engineering, Healthcare Technology Management, Parking, Security, Safety, Food Service and Environmental Services (EVS) to ensure proper operations for the buildings/campus, as well as the delivery of exceptional customer service for staff, patients, and families as it pertains to all environment of care aspects of a patient's visit/stay. Meets all regulatory requirements and maintains accurate records.

Experience

  • At least one year of Commercial Real Estate Property Management role or related experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with online work order systems and Workday
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with tracking day-to-day tasks in a fast past environment

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business management/administration or other operations/business related field

Job Responsibilities

  • Supports the Facilities Property Manager with day-to-day operations and various special projects.
  • Assists with Vender Contract Management (i.e. Managing Contingent Workers for vendor access/badges, track/manage service contracts, one-time contracts for miscellaneous repair work, as needed proposals, RFPs, etc.).
  • Assists in development of capital and OPEX budgets. This includes contributions towards a five-year plan of maintenance, facility improvements, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Manages general office duties including visitors, email and telephone communication.
  • Assists with coordinating events being held in building interior/exterior common areas and the North Druid Hills Campus with all Facilities departments.
  • Acts as a liaison across all Children's departments regarding Facilities related questions/concerns and ensure communication is consistency with policies and life safety requirements.
  • Receives, creates, and tracks online work orders.
  • Assists in confirming invoices have been received/paid for contracted services, one-time projects, etc.
  • Conducts property inspections and conducts routine inspections with contracted vendors (i.e. janitorial, landscaping, etc.).
  • Assists with obtaining and filing Certificate of Insurance for all vendors.
  • Assists the Children's Safety department with fire drills, safety captains, etc.
  • Assists with maintaining emergency contact lists for clinics/departments.
  • Orders janitorial supplies for contracted janitorial services.
  • Assists with creating meeting agendas and coordinating staff meetings.
  • Manages special projects as assigned by Facilities Property Manager, Engineering Manager, or other Facilities Leadership.
