Job description

Position Summary

Our client, an advancing manufacturing company serving highly regulated industries, is seeking a Fabrication Technician to support the production of precision tooling and composite components. This position is ideal for mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy hands-on fabrication, assembly, and working with a variety of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities:
  • Build, modify, and prepare tooling, molds, and fixtures for manufacturing operations  
  • Assemble precision components using mechanical fasteners, adhesives, and bonding materials   
  • Drill, trim, sand, and finish parts to engineering specifications  
  • Support composite manufacturing operations by preparing tooling and production materials   
  • Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and manufacturing travelers  
  • Perform work while maintaining quality standards and production schedules  
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following all company and OSHA safety standards.  
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures including PPE requirements 
Requirements: 
  • 2+ years of hands-on manufacturing, fabrication, construction, or mechanical assembly experience  
  • Experience using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and power tools  
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail  
  • Ability to interpret work instructions and basic engineering drawings  
  • Experience in aerospace, industrial manufacturing, construction, cabinetry, skilled trades, or aircraft maintenance is a plus
Schedule:
  • 2nd Shift | 3:45 pm – 12:15 am
Compensation:
  • $58,240 per year
