- Perform the necessary tasks and follow instructions as given by the fabrication manager.
- Abide by all company policies and procedures.
- Become proficient with D.A. Dodd's safety guidelines and procedures, actively participating in efforts to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
- On-the-job training to learn fabrication techniques, welding, and general terms frequently used in the mechanical industry.
- Learn to inspect materials for quality conformance using measuring devices, equipment, parts, and/or drawings.
- Follow written and verbal directions to complete assignments and job related tasks.
- Understands how to manage daily work expectations and goals.
- Always act professionally and cooperate with team members.

- Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, twist, stoop, pull, push, assemble, and carry for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly, frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with an assist.
- Ability to perform work in an environment with high noise levels.
