A Distribution Center in Batavia, IL is seeking a Distribution Center Coordinator to join their team!!
EVALUATION TO HIRE POSITION
Work Hours: Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm (flexible for overtime).
Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour
Qualifications For Position:
  • Must have excellent computer skills in Microsoft Suite and Outlook Email.
  • Must have experience using either AS400 System, ERP Management System, OR Warehouse Management Software.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Previous Shipping Receiving Clerk experience is a PLUS.

The DC Coordinator is responsible for organizing and providing efficient transportation and storage solutions for the entire lifecycle of our products, from the acquisition of raw materials to final product distribution. The ideal candidate is eager to grow and learn, proficient with computers, including basic Excel, Word, and email, able to communicate clearly in writing and in conversations, and comfortable speaking with both internal and external customers over the phone.
  • Reviewing, preparing, and routing purchase orders.
  • Prepare accurate reports for upper management.
  • Ensuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments.
  • Monitoring shipments, costs, timelines, and productivity.
  • Maintain logs and records of warehouse stock and executed orders
  • Addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues.
  • Liaising and negotiating with suppliers and retailers and respond to customer queries.
  • Regular and punctual attendance, consistently adhere to the assigned work schedule.
  • Comply with all company and safety requirements, policies, and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned
