Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

  • 5 years of sales/customer service experience OR Bachelor's Degree in lieu of experience

  • This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730, et seq.) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Qualified candidate must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the relevant government agency. Business demands may require employer to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates or bachelor's degree in Marketing, Economics, Supply Chain, Business, Communication from an accredited institution

  • Experience using MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and SalesForce

  • Experience with Oracle or other MRP system

  • Experience managing accounts and working with clients/customers

  • Experience in heavy manufacturing and/or distribution environment

  • Experience with Export Compliance and Letters of Credit/Proformas

In this role you will:

  • Manage day-to-day activities and execution of our customer connection - follow established contract review procedures and provide accurate quoting, order entry, status, shipments, returns, credits, and customer portals; being proactive when interacting with customers and resolving potential issues.

  • Follow-up on quotes

  • Provide objective feedback to commercial and marketing teams.

  • Act as a customer advocate -Drive Ease of Doing Business with Arconic. Ability to reach across departmental boundaries to satisfy customer inquiries. The Inside Sales Representative is accountable to manage issues outside the traditional bounds of responsibility when required to satisfy a customer or business objective.

  • Turn Quotes into Orders (Capture Business) Provide feedback to commercial and marketing teams.

  • Post Order Management - manage unadjusted items, process claims and negotiate settlements.  

  • Ability to work in tactical administrative team environment from focused problem solving to customer relations.

  • Serve as the liaison, for issue resolution between the customer, plant, quality, supply chain and finance.

  • Provide support to Account Managers, Sales Directors and Marketing Managers to negotiate competitive pricing, quality, delivery and lead-time with customers.
