Job description

Are you a great communicator, problem solver, able to multitask, and ability to remain calm under pressure? Those are the qualities we look for in our dispatchers!

Universal Transportation Systems, LLC. has an opening for a friendly, reliable and experienced dispatcher to join our growing company!
Who are we? UTS provides school transportation for students. We primarily service the City of Cincinnati, Warren County, Fairfield, Middletown, Hamilton, Westchester, and Dayton, OH areas.

What you're responsible for?
As a dispatcher and call center rep you are responsible for directing and monitoring daily assignments, assisting in scheduling drivers to students and ensuring the trip is completed on time, assisting drivers with directions, coordinating vehicle service and mechanical repairs with maintenance supervisor, managing any situation that may disrupt service and handle driver concerns.

What are we looking for?
  • Weekend dispatcher Providing driver and customer support for UTS.
  • Experience dispatching is a must.
  • Inbound calls, no sales.
  • Should have previous experience working in a high-volume call center.
  • Ability to read and understand maps.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Data entry skills.
  • Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word experience is a must!
  • Strong knowledge of the greater Cincinnati area.
  • Dispatch and GPS software knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage high call volume.
  • We're looking for a team player who can provide our drivers and customers with professional and friendly support.
