Overview

A well-established logistics and transportation operation is seeking a Dispatcher to join its team. This position will work alongside an experienced dispatcher, providing support with daily scheduling, communication, and coordination of drivers, equipment, and customer needs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in transportation, logistics, dispatching, or operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with scheduling and dispatching drivers and equipment
  • Communicate with drivers regarding routes, schedules, and service needs
  • Monitor daily operations and address scheduling changes as they arise
  • Coordinate with customers, drivers, and internal team members to ensure timely service
  • Maintain accurate dispatch records and operational documentation
  • Enter and update information within company software systems
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the dispatch team
  • Assist with problem-solving and issue resolution throughout the day
  • Support branch operations as needed

Qualifications

  • Previous dispatch, logistics, transportation, customer service, or administrative experience preferred
