As our company continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced, organized, and customer-focused Dispatcher / CSR to join our Richardson office. This position plays a critical role in keeping our technicians productive, our customers informed, and our daily operations running smoothly.

Position Summary

The Dispatcher / CSR serves as the communication hub between customers, technicians, and office staff. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can confidently manage multiple priorities, and understands the importance of providing outstanding customer service while maintaining an efficient schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls from residential and commercial customers seeking garage door and gate service
  • Schedule service appointments and efficiently dispatch technicians throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area
  • Coordinate technician routes, job assignments, and schedule changes throughout the day
  • Utilize company CRM software to create and manage work orders, customer information, and technician notes
  • Follow up on estimates, unsold quotes, and pending service opportunities
  • Confirm upcoming appointments and communicate scheduling updates to customers
  • Respond to qualified leads and assist in converting inquiries into booked appointments
  • Handle urgent service requests and communicate with on-call technicians when necessary
  • Maintain clear communication with field technicians via phone, text, and CRM platforms
  • Ensure customers receive timely updates regarding arrival windows and service status
  • Help maintain a full, productive schedule while delivering exceptional customer service

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of dispatching, customer service, call center, or scheduling experience
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-volume situations
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency with computers and web-based software systems
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Authorization to work in the United States

Preferred:

  • Experience in home service industries such as garage doors, gates, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, or similar trades
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Previous experience with dispatching multiple field technicians

Compensation & Schedule

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule:

  • Must be able to work weekends, and based on the business needs

  • Richardson, Texas
  • Full-time, in-office position
  • Remote work is not available
