Job description

Job Summary: The restaurant Expeditor ensures quality and proper presentation of food in a timely manner; that food orders are prepared and assembled quickly according to recipes and procedures to avoid waste; and that the line is always stocked, neat, clean and safe.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Timeliness- Ensures kitchen orders are prepared in a timely manner and sent out together by directing servers and/or food runners to deliver and complete the orders
  • Pace- Brisk and steady, organized, no unnecessary steps
  • Recipe Adherence -- Ensures proper presentation of each plate and the appropriate temperature
  • Cleanliness -- Maintain the kitchen and all of its equipment to a "like new" condition. Practice clean as you go!
  • Productivity -- Your productivity is measured, not only by the quality of what you do, but by the quantity of work you complete in a specific time period
  • Organization skills are a must
  • Think ahead -- Stock supplies before the rush
