Supplier Operations Associate
Project Expedition, a rapidly growing travel company, is seeking a Supplier Operations Associate to join our Supplier Partnerships Team. This role is focused on managing day-to-day supplier operations, maintaining accurate product and pricing information, and ensuring our Tour Operator network runs smoothly. If you enjoy solving problems, working with data, building supplier relationships, and improving operational processes, this could be a great fit.
The right candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities at once. You will work closely with Tour Operators and internal teams to resolve issues, maintain product quality, and support the ongoing growth of our marketplace. This is a hands-on role that requires strong communication skills, operational thinking, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage product and pricing updates across the platform
  • Maintain accurate pricing, availability, and product information across systems
  • Coordinate product profile updates, including activations and deactivations
  • Oversee content updates such as inclusions, meeting points, and product descriptions
  • Identify and escalate data inconsistencies to the appropriate internal teams

Support new product launches and removals
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to launch new products
  • Review product content, pricing, and availability before products go live
  • Assess and manage product removals when operational issues arise

Investigate and resolve pricing and operational issues
  • Research pricing discrepancies using rate sheets, booking records, and internal systems
  • Determine whether issues are operational or technical in nature
  • Manage complex supplier issues through resolution while keeping stakeholders informed
  • Document recurring issues and supplier-specific requirements to improve efficiency

Build and maintain supplier relationships
  • Conduct regular meetings with Tour Operators to discuss performance, commissions, and growth opportunities
  • Respond to supplier inquiries and operational requests
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen supplier partnerships and improve collaboration

Manage supplier account maintenance
  • Maintain CRM records and supplier contact information
  • Support commission updates, rebranding initiatives, and account structure changes
  • Ensure supplier data remains accurate across platforms
  • Prepare operational reports and performance updates for leadership

Support compliance and reconciliation efforts
  • Track and follow up on supplier insurance documentation requirements
  • Partner with internal teams to review compliance processes and identify improvements
  • Investigate payment disputes and reconcile discrepancies using historical pricing and booking information

Leverage AI to optimize and automate repetitive tasks and processes
The ideal candidate:
  • 2-4 years of experience in operations, account management, supplier support, or a similar role
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Comfortable managing large volumes of data across multiple systems and platforms
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Clear and effective communicator with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to work independently and prioritize competing responsibilities
  • Experience working with external partners, vendors, or suppliers
  • Familiarity with APIs and how pricing, availability, and content flow between systems is a plus
  • Marketplace, e-commerce, or travel industry experience is preferred
  • Fluent in English with strong written communication skills; additional languages are a bonus

Additional Information:
While we're excited to grow our team across the U.S., we're currently unable to hire employees residing in California or New York.
Please note that while this is a remote position, it is not suitable for digital nomads. Employees must be based in the United States and will have an allocation of time that they can work remotely in other destinations.
