Looking for a full-time opportunity in youth sports? We are looking for a goal oriented, independent, self-starter who loves working at a fast pace to help us develop our recreational leagues.
Who We Are:
i9 Sports is the nation's first and largest provider of youth sports leagues, camps and clinics whose mission is to help kids succeed in life through sports. We are a successful, independent franchisee of i9 Sports looking to expand our rapidly growing business.
Overall Job Description:
The i9 Sports Program Director is a hands-on role responsible for all aspects of promoting and running our recreational youth sports for kids ages 3-14. This is a work-from-home opportunity that allows for a flexible schedule for someone with the drive and responsibility to manage themselves effectively.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintain relationships with existing venues hosting our programs
• Find new locations, per the business plan for our future leagues
• Market programs locally through in-person marketing events, distributing flyers in the community, and working with local marketing partners
• Hire, train, and manage part-time season staff to assist in executing the leagues
• Source coaches, build teams, build schedules, communicate with parents, conduct coach meetings, and execute the local leagues
• Maintain the local web site
• Work with the franchise owner to build the local business plan, while taking on the responsibility of executing that plan
• Responsible for customer service and customer satisfaction
• Responsible for maintaining the high standards of all of our programs
Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
• Three-plus years of experience in a fast paced service environment Preference for those who have managed staff. Retail or restaurant experience can be a good crossover.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to market to potential venue owners through in-person, telephone, and email
• Demonstrable ability to meet goals in a fast paced environment
• Ability to manage details
• Ability to identify and efficiently solve problems
• Highly motivated self-starter; must be able to work independently
• Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional business relationships
• Proficiency in core Microsoft Office programs and comfort in learning and using new technology
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to work from home
