Job description

As an Executive Support Engineer, you will provide white-glove technical support to Best Buy senior executives and their executive assistants. This full-time, five-day-a-week in-person role operates with a high degree of autonomy, creates executive relationships, drives incidents to resolution, and strengthens the broader Executive Support team’s availability, responsiveness, and service quality. The role requires sound judgment, discretion, urgency, and the ability to resolve complex technology issues with minimal direction while maintaining a calm, professional experience for executive stakeholders.
This role is on site, which means you would be required to work at a designated Best Buy location.
What you’ll do
  • Deliver fast, high-trust technical support to Best Buy senior executives and their executive assistants, owning each issue end-to-end through resolution.
  • Provide proactive, white-glove service that anticipates executive needs, reduces friction, and protects productivity during critical business moments.
  • Orchestrate hardware, software, accessory, and mobile device fulfillment from the executive catalog(s) with minimal effort required from the executive or executive assistant.
  • Coordinate across cross-functional teams to secure fast, policy-compliant resolutions while keeping executives and executive assistants proactively informed.
  • Lead service improvements, catalog refreshes, readiness activities, and proactive monitoring that reduce repeat incidents and improve the executive support experience.
Basic qualifications
  • 3+ years of advanced end-user, desktop, or executive support experience spanning hardware, software, mobile devices, and collaboration tools.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering white-glove support to senior executives and executive assistants in a large enterprise environment.
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly, calmly, and professionally with executives and executive assistants under pressure.
  • Proven ability to independently resolve complex, ambiguous, or sensitive technology issues while exercising sound judgment, discretion, and urgency.
  • Availability to provide responsive support outside standard business hours for urgent, executive-impacting incidents.
Preferred qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive and mobile management.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or a comparable ITSM platform, including incident documentation, service request fulfillment, and knowledge article contributions.
  • Experience supporting executive meetings, travel technology needs, device refreshes, and high-visibility events where reliability and effectiveness are critical.
  • Prior mentorship, peer coaching, or team-lead experience that demonstrates the ability to raise service standards across a support team.
