Job Description:

L3Harris is seeking a highly motivated and capable Sr Specialist, Program Management (PM) to support the ASG-FMS Programs team located in Greenville, TX. This individual will support the program leadership team with all aspects of program execution, inception through completion and responsibility for assigned taskings to include cost, schedule and technical performance. The PM will be a primary stakeholder in the Material and Supply chain IPT, from managing procurement to delivery.  This role involves ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, managing supplier relationships, and coordinating with various departments at multiple sites to optimize the supply chain process.

Essential Functions:

  • Oversee the entire material program, managing cost, schedule, and technical performance to ensure project success.
  • Coordinate inventory management, including Kits, Spares, and Repairs to ensure timely and efficient supply chain operations.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact for material-related activities, providing status updates and briefings during meetings and reviews with customers, end-users, and executive staff.
  • Establish and monitor execution milestones, ensuring adherence to master schedules and payment milestones.
  • Identify challenges, opportunities, and risks across the program, developing strategies to address them effectively.
  • Engage with engineering, manufacturing, and logistics teams to maintain seamless continuity throughout the program lifecycle, from "cradle to grave."
  • Review potential changes in material scope and advise management and customer on the impact.
  • Work closely with the Material Program Managers to prepare, manage, and forecast material budgets and expenses.
  • Direct the work of functional employees in the execution of the assigned projects while establishing and monitoring performance to schedules, plans, and milestones.
  • Respond to the customer's needs and be able to respond to quick reaction needs. As required, support request/coordination outside of normal business hours.
  • Brief customer, end-user, and upper management on all facets of the assigned projects.
  • Commercial, Department of Defense, and/or Military Aviation/Aerospace products development and production.
  • Managing developmental, COTS, and baseline efforts.
  • Preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contracts.
  • Strong project management skills, outstanding communication (both verbally and written), negotiation, organizational, time management, and leadership skills.
  • Interface with engineering, manufacturing, and management personnel.
  • Managing and working in an environment that is fast-paced, demanding, with a focus on problem resolution and process improvement.
  • Proven team player with outstanding customer relationship skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and MS Project.
  • Strong background with SAP and Supply chain processes.
  • Ability to Utilize metrics to identify trends and drive results.
  • Execute program results while maintaining compliance to policies, procedures and process.
  • Continuous improvement effort through all phases of program execution.
  • Knowledge of manpower planning, milestone scheduling, PM tools, and related financial management.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree with six (6) years of direct material management experience related to FAA military programs.
  • Graduate degree with four (4) years of direct material management experience related to FAA military programs.
  • In Lieu of a degree, minimum of ten years of direct material management experience related to FAA military programs.
  • Must have an active Secret Clearance at the time of hire with ability to obtain Top-Secret with SCI.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
