Job description

We are currently seeking aSimulation Analysis Engineerto contribute to our mission in a dynamic startup environment.AsaSimulation Analysis Engineer, you will verify thatour real-time, integrated simulations perform as expected and match the analytical and experimental data. You willdevelop visualization and batch processing tools for this analysis.You will work with our team to design experiments and document the results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run simulation cases to perform system and subsystem analysis
  • Document test procedures and results
  • Collate data into presentable charts from the generated simulation data
  • Communicate results to other team members and provide insight into test results
  • Develop tooling for batch processing of simulation cases
  • Develop tooling for report generation from batch simulation runs
  • Work with test engineers to define test plans


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree inPhysics, Computer Science, Data Science,Mathor related discipline
  • Experience in Python and C++, ability to write reusable code
  • Experience in Data Visualization,e.g.matplotlib in python
  • Understanding of physical systems and their models,e.g.Radio Systems, Thermal Systems, Vehicle Dynamics, Power Systems, image/camera models
  • Understanding of statistics and other mathematical concepts as they relate to engineering
  • Ability to communicate technical results to a wide audience
  • Able to design and carry outsimulationexperiments for performance analysis
  • Able to design and work with a team to carry out experiments using physical systems
  • Self-motivated, focused, and driven to meet criticaldeadlines
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • U.S. Person


Preferred Qualifications:

  • List 4-8 skills andexperiencethat would be nice to havebutarenotrequired- like certificationsor specific softwareapplicationknowledge
  • Experience with Python, matplotlib, pandas, csv files
  • Experience with ROS2
  • Experience with State Space Modelling, Control Theory, State Estimation
  • Experience with git and other modern software development practices


Compensation & Benefits:Compensation level and base salary are competitively structured and thoughtfully determined based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, and the scope of the role.
