Position Summary
The Account Executive is responsible for driving new business through consultative selling, needs-based discovery, and relationship development with small to mid-market businesses. This role partners closely with marketing, implementation, and client success teams to ensure a seamless client experience from first conversation through onboarding.
This is a high-impact revenue role with clear earnings potential and real career progression.
What You'll Do
- Own the full sales cycle - prospecting through close
- Conduct discovery to understand prospect payroll, HR, and compliance needs
- Deliver product demonstrations and solution recommendations
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
- Collaborate with marketing on lead generation and campaigns
- Accurately forecast sales activity and revenue
- Partner with Implementation and Client Success to ensure smooth onboarding
- Maintain accurate documentation
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitive landscape
What You Bring
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience (SaaS, payroll, HR, or financial services preferred)
- Strong prospecting, presentation, and closing skills. This is a hunter role.
- Strong networking skills or an existing referral network of CPA's, Benefit Brokers, or Retirement Advisors
- Excellent communication and consultative selling abilities
- High accountability and self-motivation
