Job description

The Role

Farther's Client Experience & Operations team is the backbone of everything we deliver to advisors and their clients. We're looking for a senior operator to step in as Executive in Residence - CX & Operations on a fixed-term basis while our Head of CX is on temporary leave.

You'll hold full executive accountability for the organization - leading the team, owning H2 goals, driving product partnership, and ensuring operational continuity across a fast-moving, regulated financial services environment. If you've operated at the C-suite level, led large service organizations, and thrive in high-stakes, ambiguous situations, this is the right challenge.

This is a fixed-term contract role with a target end date of late November 2026. For the right person, there may be a longer-term opportunity on the other side.

Your Impact

  • Lead the Client Experience and Operations organizations, providing direct management, manager coaching, and executive accountability
  • Drive H2 objectives and key results - owning progress tracking, cross-functional accountability, and risk management
  • Serve as the primary operational partner to Product and Engineering, translating CX requirements into scalable product solutions and supporting automation implementation
  • Maintain service delivery performance - monitor KPIs, manage escalations, oversee daily operations, and support workforce and capacity planning
  • Serve as the executive presence within the DFW office, driving employee engagement, local leadership, and cross-functional coordination
  • Oversee strategic initiatives, including DFW office renovation - managing project timelines, stakeholder alignment, and executive decision-making
  • Support operational readiness across a complex, regulated financial services environment - coordinating across functions on service model implementation, operating procedures, and go-live readiness activities
  • Present updates to executive leadership, maintain transparency on key initiatives, and escalate risks appropriately

The Ideal Match

  • 10+ years in operations, client services, business operations, or platform leadership
  • Executive leadership experience - prior experience reporting to or sitting within the C-suite
  • Demonstrated track record leading large service organizations through growth and change
  • Strong cross-functional influence skills - you can drive alignment without direct authority
  • Excellent communicator; comfortable presenting to executives and representing a team at the leadership level
  • Thrives in ambiguity; able to assess quickly, establish trust, and operate without a long runway

Bonus Points

  • Experience in wealth management, RIA, Broker-Dealer, fintech, or comparable regulated financial services
  • Prior interim or executive-in-residence experience
  • Familiarity with advisor-facing platforms or service models
  • DFW-based or willing to be on-site in a hybrid environment through the 12-week contract periodย

Why Join Usย

  • Competitive comp package that rewards impact
  • Work alongside some of the brightest minds in fintech
  • Ground-floor opportunity at a fast-scaling startup
  • Chart your own growth path as we expand
  • Full health benefits + 401(k) matching & Roth IRA options
  • Unlimited PTO
