We are currently seeking a Project Executive in Dallas, TX. to join our family.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
  • Documents best practices to share with other projects; ensures best construction methods are being used
  • Manages claims; identifies and resolves potential claims with subcontractors/suppliers
  • Protects and promotes the interests of the Company; ensures all compensation for work performed is received
  • Assists the Project Manager with problem or conflict resolution
  • Manages the scope of work and has mastery of the contract documents
  • Supports the achievement of EEO goals
  • Manages the financial aspects of contracts; assures job margin analysis is completed on a regular basis
  • Sets safety, quality, schedule, cost, and owner relationship goals
  • Manages multiple projects and Project Managers accordingly
  • Participates in project coordination meetings
  • Monitors and reports project cost and schedule performance; recommends corrective actions if needed
  • Ensures proper project billing; reviews/negotiates potential change orders with owner
  • Directs and ensures timely completion of project close-out activities
  • Ensures preparation of cost estimates, value engineering, constructability reviews, scope development, and project building procedures
  • Reviews project proposals or plans to determine time frame, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project
  • Monitors and ensures quality control
  • Establishes and maintains positive relationships with key owners, architects
  • Ensures adherence to insurance, safety, labor relations, EEO, and tax regulations
  • Champions skill development of assigned resources through training and performance appraisals
  • Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required; prepares project reports for management, owner or others
  • Fosters team camaraderie; mentors project personnel; ensures each person understands their role on the project
  • Must be willing to travel if required
  • Communicate with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g. customers, suppliers, employees). Maintain relationship to ensure needs are met and problems/conflicts are resolved.
  • Communicates and reinforces the Company vision, mission and values

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University and 10 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Related project experience in the markets served
