Are you a Senior Project Manager who has successfully led complex construction projects and is ready to step into a Project Executive role?

We are seeking an accomplished construction leader who is ready to expand from managing projects to leading people, building client relationships, mentoring Project Managers, and providing executive oversight of multiple project teams.

You will join our organization as a Project Executive from your first day. To position you for long-term success, we provide a structured executive onboarding process that allows you to build relationships, understand our operations, and gain the support needed to successfully transition into the role. This approach is designed to ensure your success, not to delay your title or compensation.

YOU WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

As a Project Executive, you will provide leadership for multiple healthcare and institutional construction projects while serving as the primary liaison between owners, architects, consultants, and project teams.

Executive Leadership

  • Provide executive oversight of multiple projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop multiple Project Managers and their project teams.
  • Establish project execution strategies, staffing plans, and operational priorities.
  • Monitor project performance related to safety, quality, schedule, budget, and client satisfaction.
  • Identify and resolve issues before they impact project success.

Client Management

  • Serve as the executive point of contact for owners, owner's representatives, architects, engineers, and consultants.
  • Build trusted, long-term client relationships that generate repeat business.
  • Lead executive project meetings and strategic planning discussions.
  • Manage expectations through proactive communication and effective problem-solving.
  • Represent the company with professionalism and integrity.

Financial Leadership

  • Maintain executive oversight of project budgets, forecasting, cash flow, and profitability.
  • Review financial performance and provide guidance to Project Managers.
  • Approve major change orders and strategic procurement decisions.
  • Identify financial risks and implement corrective action plans.

Preconstruction & Business Development

  • Participate in client presentations, project interviews, and proposal development.
  • Support budgeting, constructability reviews, value engineering, and project planning.
  • Assist in developing new business opportunities and strengthening existing client relationships.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Mentor Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers.
  • Build high-performing teams through coaching, accountability, and leadership.
  • Promote collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Help identify and develop future leaders within the organization.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

  • 10+ years of progressive commercial construction management experience.
  • Proven success managing complex healthcare and institutional construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Experience leading multiple projects and mentoring project teams.
  • Strong client-facing experience with owners, architects, engineers, and consultants.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong financial management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and project profitability.
  • A leader who is ready to grow from managing projects to leading people, clients, and operations.

Experience working in occupied healthcare environments, including phased construction, infection control protocols, and maintaining uninterrupted facility operations, is highly preferred.
