    Reporting to the Corovan Director of Sales & Logistics, the Corovan Machinery Moving Account Executive II is responsible to continually increase profitable revenue in markets outside of the Corovan core business of office moving and storage. Specifically, this position was created to increase revenue in the service lines of machinery moving, machinery storage, and machinery logistics, through sales efforts intended to generate new business from new customers, and new and incremental business from existing customers of Corovan Machinery Movers (Company), and Corovan Moving & Storage.
    In addition, this position will be available to assist in training other Corovan Machinery Moving team members to ensure they are up to speed on current processes and practices.
    This sales position is expected to spend 100% of his/her time increasing revenue through sales efforts, as stated above, and by creating and managing relationships with key account representatives, earning repetitive business from clients whenever possible.
    It is the intent of Corovan to reward The Corovan Machinery Moving Account Executive II for producing profitable revenue in the designated Service Lines listed below, specifically targeting accounts with repetitive business in these Service Lines:
    • Machinery Moving, with a specific emphasis on repetitive machinery moving business, commodities machinery moving services, large project moves, and industrial plant relocations.
    • Machinery Storage, with a specific emphasis on storage required in San Diego County.
    • Machinery Logistics Services, with an emphasis on customers requiring long distance machinery moving and storage services into and out of Southern California. However, machinery logistics services may also include clients with machinery moving and storage needs anywhere in the world.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    To perform this job successfully, the Corovan Machinery Moving Account Executive II must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The list of activities, actions, skills, and knowledge below is representative of but not a complete and inclusive list of the "essential duties" required of a Corovan Machinery Moving Account Executive II. Additional essential duties and changes to essential duties as listed herein can be made by management at any time:
    Personal Sales Activities:
    • Perform as a leader in the industry, representing Corovan professionally and ethically in every transaction and interaction with fellow employees, clients, vendors, and the public.
    • Perform Account Management services, including but not inclusive of:

      • punctually perform machinery moving client walkthroughs for survey, scope, and Quote development purposes.
      • responsively return the Quote to the client.
      • responsively communicate with Account personnel, especially in response to inquiries.
      • develop and communicate to Operations a succinct and detailed scope of work for each job request that includes all constraints associated with the job, as well as all details, skillsets, types, and required time needed of all manpower, trucks, forklifts, lift equipment, other equipment and gear, required Third Parties (cranes, crating, trucking, forklifts, lifting apparatus, other equipment and gear, construction trades, safety compliances, permits, any other required services), storage, inventory expectations for storage, billing and payment terms (including opportunities for progressive billing), and any other services, material or equipment required to safely and successfully meet the clients' expectations.
      • responsively handle customer questions and concerns, and promptly escalate issues when necessary.
      • assist the Corovan A/R personnel and works directly with Clients' personnel regarding receivables.
      • periodically entertain buyers of repetitive business accounts and prospects whenever permissible and possible.

    • Properly complete all Order Entry documents for each job generated from Corovan Machinery Moving Account Executive II's accounts and upload those documents to the Corovan Machinery Mover Order Entry System.
    • Assist in the training of new hires and existing team members on all aspects of the machinery moving industry, including but not limited to: safety, estimating, scope of work development, establishing reasonable customer and crew expectations, achieving customer satisfaction.
    • Make account calls daily to continually develop new business.
    • Make follow-up calls on all pending jobs to close that business.
    • Prospect to generate new business and gain additional business from existing customers.

    • Develop, conduct, and coordinate sales presentations, both in person and virtually, for potential, new, and existing customers.
    • Make headquarter calls (virtual or in-person) on key accounts.
    • Compile competitive information and work with the sales management to formulate competitive strategy and programs.

    • Perform Client relationship improvement activities on a consistent and relevant basis.
    • Provide regular reports as requested by management on general activity in all market areas.
    • Other duties may be assigned, as needed, or warranted, by management.

    Training and Development:
    • Support, promote, and practice the principles of Corovan's Vision and Value Statements, strategic plans, and budget, as well as department and organizational goals.
    • Continuously promote compliance with company policies and procedures.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
    Minimum Qualifications:
    • High School Diploma.
    • Three plus years of experience in Machinery Mover industry in various levels of positions and responsibilities with at least two years of outside sales experience required in the machinery moving and estimating, with a successful track record of achieving sales revenue growth and targeted margins.
    • Valid California driver's license and driving record that meets the company's insurance carrier's requirements.
    • Strong business acumen.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree.
    • Proficient in MS Office, including MS Excel and PowerPoint.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
