Job Description
Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Profession: Radiology / Cardiology

Shift: Day 4x10-Hour
Hours per Shift: 10:30 AM - 9:00 PM
Experience: Minimum 1 year required. Unit accepts first-time travelers.
License: GA or Compact license required
Certifications: BLS, CNMT, ARRT N, ARRT N or CNMT required
Must-Have:
- GE, Hitachi, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba experience
- HIDA Scan, 3 Phase, Limited, Whole Body experience
- DTPA Aerosol, Perfusion, Ventilation/Perfusion experience
- Cancer Survey, I-123 Uptake Scan, Uptake Scan experience
- Pharmacological Stress, Thallium stress test experience
- Isolation Precautions/PPE
- Starting and maintaining IVs
- Storing/Handling/Disposal of Radioactive Materials
Description:
The unit requires travelers to work on weekends as needed.
There is no call required for this position.
Floating is expected within the facility/scope of practice and to Outpatient as needed.
Candidates will undergo clinical screening to determine fit for the role.
If the candidate passes the clinical screen and meets guidelines, they will be sent to management for a final decision.
Maximum RTO is 7 days.
Travelers are expected to work major holidays if they fall within the assignment period.
If one major holiday occurs, the traveler is expected to work it.
If two major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work both.
If three major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
Compliance is essential before starting the assignment.
All compliance documents must be completed before the start date.
Modules are non-billable and hours are factored into the overall contract.
Modules are completed during orientation and recorded via transcripts.
