Nuclear Medicine Tech Start Date: May 26 or June 08 Shift: 5x8 Day 0800-16:30 Local Rate within 60 miles: Please reach out to AM 2 Years Minimum Experience Required ***1 YEAR hospital based experience preferred Must have 1 prior travel assignment Certs Req: ARRT N OR NMTCB(CNMT); and BLS Skills Req: GE, Hitachi, Phillips, Siemens, Toshiba, HIDA Scan, Bone Scan, Lung Scan, Thyroid Studies Professional Knowledge and Skills: Start and maintain Peripheral IV, Isolation Precautions, Storing/Handling/Disposal of Radioactive Materials Must have basic knowledge of nuclear medicine theory and techniques, radiation safety practices, good knowledge of specialized and complex Molecular Imaging procedures. Ability to work under stressful and emergent situations. Effective communication skills.
