Description

Sedric.ai is seeking a strategic, hands-on VP Sales US to build and lead our US go-to-market organization. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is responsible for scaling our US GTM motion into a data-driven revenue engine while personally leading key enterprise negotiations. The ideal candidate is a "player-coach" with a proven track record of scaling early-stage startups from ~$5M to ~$20M ARR. This position offers a unique opportunity to build a high-performing sales team from the ground up, serve as the voice of the US market, and play a critical role in the company's growth as we expand our AI-powered compliance platform.

What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Strategic Account Leadership (Player-Coach): Act as the executive sponsor for key accounts, leading complex, high-value enterprise negotiations and staying personally involved in critical deals.
  • GTM Architecture: Upgrade and scale Sedricโ€™s US go-to-market motion, refining sales playbooks to ensure consistency, predictability, and a data-driven revenue engine.
  • Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing US sales team (AEs and SDRs), establishing clear standards, coaching performance, and developing future leaders.
  • Forecasting, Revenue Ops & Board Visibility: Strengthen pipeline discipline and forecasting, providing reliable visibility into US revenue performance and growth trajectory.
  • Market Intelligence & Product Partnership: Serve as the primary voice of the US market, translating customer and regulatory insights into product roadmap priorities.
Requirements
  • Growth Architect & Lead Hunter: Proven success driving net-new enterprise revenue and scaling startups from ~$5M to ~$20M ARR, with the ability to thrive in ambiguity and lead from the front.
  • FinTech & Compliance Sales Expertise: Deep experience selling B2B SaaS into financial services, fintech, or compliance-driven environments, including a strong understanding of regulatory buyers and their pain points.
  • Enterprise Closer: Demonstrated ability to lead and close complex, six- and seven-figure enterprise deals.
  • Strategic GTM Leader: Strong market intuition and the ability to adapt sales strategies to evolving regulatory and AI-driven compliance landscapes.
  • Team Builder at Scale: Proven experience hiring, developing, and leading high-performing sales organizations (AEs and SDRs) in a Series A/B environment.

Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary and high commission
  • Equity (stock options)
  • Comprehensive benefits package

  • Opportunity to work with a seasoned team building a market-leading AI compliance platform
