Food Service Manager

This position is under the direct supervision of the Community CEO and is the department manager of the food service team. The Food Service Manager will be responsible for the preparation, cooking and serving of all meals. They are responsible for ordering, receiving and storing all deliveries, including but not limited to food, kitchen supplies, emergency supplies. They are responsible for making sure all perishable items are placed in refrigerator/freezer if the cook or kitchen aids are not on hand. The Food Service Manager is responsible for making sure the kitchen and dining areas are clean and safe. The Food Service Manager has a food budget and must always remain within this budget and is required to identify cost savings in the kitchen. All directors and managers will report to the Community CEO when any inspector or official agency arrives at the property.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma preferred
  • Current hands-on CPR Certification.
  • Serve Safe Required
  • Must have a clear background screening.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to read and write English
