Position: Automotive Service Advisor
Location: Barrington, IL
Motor Werks is currently seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. As a Service Advisor, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers requiring automotive maintenance and repair services, ensuring their satisfaction and building lasting relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and assess their service needs, providing guidance and recommendations based on vehicle inspections and manufacturer guidelines.
Schedule service appointments and coordinate service orders with the service department to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance.
Communicate with customers throughout the service process, providing updates on the status of their vehicles and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
Review service estimates with customers, explaining recommended repairs and associated costs, and obtain approval for work to be performed.
Coordinate with service technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and efficient completion of repairs, while maintaining high-quality standards.
Process payments for services rendered, including collecting payment, processing invoices, and preparing documentation for customer records.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service transactions, and vehicle service histories using dealership management software.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a customer service role within the automotive industry is preferred.
