Job description

About Read AI:
At Read AI, we're redefining how teams collaborate by bringing intelligence to every conversation. Our platform supercharges productivity across meetings, messages, and email so work gets done faster, smarter, and with better focus. We integrate seamlessly with tools like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Slack, and more, helping teams stay aligned and move forward whether they're in the same room or across time zones.
Backed by $82 million in funding from Smash Capital, Madrona, and Goodwater Capital, Read AI is growing quickly. We're building a category-defining AI platform that sits at the center of how modern teams communicate. If you're excited by big markets, fast growth, and building something meaningful from the ground up, we'd love to meet you.
The Role:
We're seeking our first Portuguese-speaking Growth AE to spearhead expansion within our rapidly growing Brazilian user base. This is a hybrid role: you'll focus on capturing the untapped opportunity in Brazil while also working with English-speaking accounts alongside the rest of the Growth AE team.
You'll own the full sales cycle, and be a key driver of turning product-led growth into paid revenue by converting individual product sign-ups into company-wide adoption. This includes prospecting, discovery calls, product demonstrations and closing.
We're less focused on where you've worked before and more focused on how you show up: a strong communicator who likes helping customers, moves without being told to, and wants to close. Our most successful reps get deeply curious about how the product actually works, and are self-motivated to learn about industry trends and evolving sales practices.
What You'll Do:
  • Prospect into our existing user base to identify companies worth converting, map the right contacts, and drive sales conversations that turn free usage into paid workspaces. You'll work inbound leads too, but the primary growth will come from the accounts nobody has called yet.
  • Run full sales cycles with both Portuguese- and English-speaking customers.
  • Shape the Brazil sales playbook. There isn't one yet. Test outbound angles, messaging, and sources of pipeline, then tell us what's working so we can scale it.
  • Localize internal materials into Portuguese (ie sales messaging, decks, product explainers).
  • Be the voice of the Brazilian customer base, flagging patterns, common questions, and product feedback to the leadership and product teams.
  • Keep CRM records accurate and up to date so nothing falls through the cracks.

What We're Looking For:
  • Fluent Brazilian Portuguese and professional English, written and spoken.
  • 1-3 years in a closing role with strong performance.
  • A builder's instinct. You're energized by creating something out of nothing, and you're always trying new approaches to see what sticks.
  • Speed with new technology. You don't need to be technical, but you should be curious about AI tools and quick to learn them.
  • High growth mindset. You actively seek feedback, internalize it, and use it to get better every week.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and a fast-moving sales environment.
  • Collaborative by nature. You work well across teams to get things done.
  • Comfortable with flexing working hours earlier in the day to align better with the LATAM market.

Nice to Have:
  • SaaS or tech sales experience
  • Experience serving Brazilian buyers as part of a US-based company
  • Product-led growth experience, converting self-serve users into paid accounts
  • Additional language fluency beyond Portuguese and English
  • Experience working with distributed/remote teams

Why Read AI?
  • Innovative: We bring AI to the masses with proactive technology that acts as the ultimate AI assistant, making individuals and teams more effective
  • Massive Impact: You'll have real ownership over how an entire language market experiences Read AI, with a direct line to leadership on what's working and what isn't
  • Growth Opportunities: Join one of the fastest-growing AI companies, recognized as a Top Startup in Seattle and a Top Company To Watch by Inc Magazine, with room to specialize further into sales or customer success (or both) as you grow
  • Leadership: Work alongside visionary leaders and learn from some of the most disruptive minds in AI
  • Collaborative Culture: Be part of a supportive, ambitious, and high-performing team that celebrates people who take initiative and win

On-target earnings range for this role is $90,000 - $125,000, which includes base salary and performance-based commissions paid quarterly. Actual total compensation will depend on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.
We have a strong preference for candidates based in Seattle, where you'd join the team in the office. We're open to candidates outside of Seattle for the right fit, with the expectation of periodic required travel to Seattle (e.g., for onboarding, team gatherings, or key milestones).
