About the Opportunity:
A fast-growing, mission-driven organization in the housing and development sector is seeking a highly capable Executive Assistant to the CEO. This role is designed for an experienced executive partner who wants more than traditional administrative work and is motivated by growth, impact, and long-term leadership development.
The position offers clear and intentional progression into a Chief of Staff role for a high performer. You will work in close partnership with the CEO and leadership team to bring structure, focus, and execution to a scaling organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Executive Support and Priority Management
- Serve as the primary support to the CEO, managing complex calendars, travel, meetings, and communications
- Anticipate needs, resolve issues proactively, and align executive time with strategic priorities
- Prepare agendas, briefing materials, and follow-ups for executive, board, and external meetings
- Coordinate leadership meetings, track action items, and improve cross-functional communication
- Drive accountability on key initiatives and ensure follow-through across teams
- Act as a trusted liaison between the CEO, leadership, partners, and external stakeholders
- Support special projects tied to growth, development initiatives, and operational scale
- Help document processes, establish operating rhythms, and improve internal systems
- Assist with strategic planning, including quarterly priorities, metrics, and leadership alignment
- Reinforce a culture centered on inclusion, safety, professionalism, and community impact
- Model discretion, integrity, and collaborative leadership
- Contribute to a respectful, mission-driven workplace
- 5 or more years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Senior EA, or similar role supporting a CEO or senior executive
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with executive-level professionalism
- High level of discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential information
- Experience in real estate development, construction, housing, or mission-driven organizations
- Exposure to strategic projects, operational planning, or cross-functional leadership initiatives
- Strategic, proactive, and solutions-oriented
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity within a scaling organization
- Motivated by ownership, visibility, and long-term growth into a Chief of Staff or operational leadership role
- Values-driven with a genuine interest in community impact and attainable housing
- Direct partnership with the CEO of a growing, purpose-driven organization
- Defined career progression to Chief of Staff for a strong performer
