Executive Assistant to CEO FLSA: Non-ExemptReports To: CEOPhysical Requirements: NormalHours of Work: Full-time, 37.5 hours/week-Office Environment Mon-Fri

Pay Range: $20.34- $27.52

Job Summary:

The Executive Assistant to the CEO provides highly skilled and confidential clerical assistance to the Chief Executive Officer. The Executive Assistant acts as key liaison to the Board of Directors.

 Job Qualifications:1. HS Diploma/GED and 7 years of administrative assistant experience OR 2 year degree in Clerical/Administrative Assistant or related field with 5 years of administrative assistant experience or equivalent.
  1. Possess excellent word processing, typing and general office skills.
  2. Must be able to relate well to the general public and the individuals we support.
4. Working knowledge of personal communication equipment and office equipment
  1. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  2. Excellent communication, and interpersonal, and organization skills.
  3. Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
  4. Valid NYS Driver's License that meets agency standards and reliable transportation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Perform all secretarial/administrative work for CEO to include:
    1. Place outgoing calls and receive incoming calls
    2. Screen, sort and dispense all incoming and outgoing correspondence
    3. Coordinate and schedule meetings
    4. Provide timely and accurate secretarial/clerical support
  2. Arrange and administer travel related activities as needed.
  3. Act as liaison and coordinator for Agency Board activities to include:
    1. Meetings
    2. Minutes and Agendas
    3. Schedules
    4. Communications
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date files
  5. Act as a resource to CEO in coordinating, scheduling and supporting external activities as assigned.
  6. Provide support for agency functions as assigned.
