Overview
The Operations Support Specialist, Intermediate II, plays a vital role in providing comprehensive operations support within the Department of Defense (DoD), Chief Program Executive (CPE), and Program Manager (PM) organizations. This position involves a variety of analytical and administrative duties designed to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Support: Assist in executing a diverse range of operational tasks, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Staffing Management: Manage staffing requirements and track both internal and external deadlines, as well as correspondence with designated functional areas.
  • Analytical Support: Provide analytical support in areas such as planning, risk management, and program analysis.
  • Task Tracking: Monitor and ensure timely responses to all organizational tasks, facilitating effective communication across teams.
  • Process Documentation: Collaborate in the definition and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other written processes.
  • Planning Coordination: Ensure integrated short-term, mid-term, and long-range planning on various projects and tasks.
  • Policy Development: Initiate, develop, revise, and recommend implementation of policies, plans, procedures, and directives under the guidance of senior staff.
