Job Description Great Opportunity for an Experienced Producer in Construction Contractors We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Producer โ€“ Construction /Contractors Insurance to drive sales growth, expand market penetration, and build long-term client relationships. This role is ideal for an individual with deep industry knowledge who thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment and enjoys developing new business while strengthening existing accounts. Objective / Function The Producer is responsible for driving sales growth by acquiring new business and managing relationships with customers within the heavy construction sector. This role focuses on increasing market penetration in assigned territories while retaining and strengthening existing client relationships, critical to long-term success. Key responsibilities include: Growing assigned territories Account management Ensuring account profitability and retention Negotiating and renegotiating rates as market conditions evolve Success in this position requires strong negotiation skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to adapt to changing market trends. Primary Responsibilities Identify opportunities to establish new client agreements through market analysis, demographics, and sales contacts Prospect new business through outbound phone sales using company databases, online resources, and cold calling Minimum of 30 outbound calls per day Negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients Review and analyze client needs by discussing requirements, qualifications, exposures, and risk profiles Work proactively with Account Managers to market available solutions to existing and prospective clients Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high retention rates Foster positive employee and client relations to support long-term partnerships Travel within the assigned geographic territory as needed Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned Requirements Education and Experience 5+ years of industry experience (heavy construction preferred) High school diploma or equivalent preferred Active Property & Casualty License Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook AMS 360 experience a plus Why Join Us?
