Task Force Contractors is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business delivering federal construction and facility services. We’re hiring a hands-on working supervisor to run our furniture relocation and reconfiguration work at the Atlanta VA — and to be the reason the account grows.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
•    Work the job. Receive, deliver, install, disassemble/reassemble, repair, and reconfigure furniture and systems furniture (cubicles/workstations) across the main VA hospital and metro-Atlanta clinics. This is a hands-on role — you work alongside the crew, not just watch it.
•    Run the schedule. Build and manage the schedule for each task order, sequencing your crew and subcontractors, and hit the VA’s windows (respond within 4 hours, deliver within 24–72 hours).
•    Direct crew & subs. Lead the move crew and drivers every shift and schedule subcontractors (flooring/base, specialty install); enforce VA conduct, badging, uniform/ID, and privacy standards; keep it safe and protect the facility.
•    Document it. Read, color-code, and number floor plans and read AutoCAD drawings; keep a professional photo inventory in Excel; send clean written reports to the VA point of contact.
•    Own customer success. Treat the VA staff as the customer. Run a weekly customer-success check-in/survey, log it, and fix issues before they grow.
•    Grow the account. Build rapport with VA stakeholders, network with prime contractors on site, and help position TFC for the next task order and future work.

WHAT YOU NEED
•    5+ years of hands-on furniture installation / systems furniture and/or commercial construction, including time directing a crew (7+ preferred).
•    Able to build a schedule, read floor plans/AutoCAD drawings, and produce written reports and Excel photo inventories on your own.
•    Working knowledge of commercial systems furniture (Herman Miller, Haworth, Teknion, National, Global, Versteel, Krug, Amcase, or comparable).
•    Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; able to work on-site daily within 50 miles of Decatur, GA.
•    Physically able to lift, stand, and move furniture and equipment throughout the shift.
•    High customer-service mindset — comfortable being the face of the company to VA facility staff.
A PLUS (NOT REQUIRED)
•    OEM certified-installer credentials (Teknion, Global, Versteel, Krug, Amcase, Herman Miller, Haworth).
•    Prior federal, VA, or healthcare-facility moving/reconfiguration experience.
•    Existing relationships with VA facility staff or metro-Atlanta prime contractors.
This job IS for you if…
•    You’ve run furniture install or move crews and still like being hands-on.
•    You can talk to a VA facility manager and a laborer in the same hour.
•    Schedules, reports, and photo inventories don’t scare you — you build them yourself.
You want a stable, long-term seat you can grow into more work.
This job is NOT for you if…
•    You want a desk job or won’t be hands-on moving/installing furniture.
•    You can’t pass a background check and drug screen or get a VA badge.
•    You bristle at being held accountable for customer satisfaction.
You need someone else to build the schedule and write the reports.
This is a stable, long-term, W-2 position that grows in scope, responsibility, and pay as the account expands into more VA work. Task Force Contractors is an Equal Opportunity Employer; we strongly encourage veterans to apply.
