Pay Range: Approximately $109,200 – $192,510 annual base salary (up to about $125,600 – $217,695 in major metropolitan areas, depending on final work location, experience, education, skills, and market conditions) POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a Systems Engineer Staff to join the Missile SEIT Project Integration team as Control Account Manager (CAM) for missile systems engineering projects and IRADs/proposals. This role focuses on managing cost, schedule, and technical performance across multiple control accounts while leading systems engineering planning, scope, and execution activities. The ideal candidate will have strong systems engineering experience across the full lifecycle, prior CAM/EVMS responsibilities, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional technical and programmatic teams in a fast-paced environment. RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Serve as Control Account Manager for missile systems engineering projects and IRAD/proposal efforts. Manage cost, schedule, and technical performance across multiple control accounts, providing clear status to program leadership. Lead technical planning activities and manage systems engineering project scope and execution. Support IRAD and proposal efforts for the Missile SEIT team, including system design, analysis, test, and integration tasks. Contribute to Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates, proposal submissions, and contract execution activities. Act as primary point of accountability to the Program Manager for control account performance and support Earned Value Management activities. Partner with functional managers and leadership to ensure staffing plans align with project needs and forecasted workload. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution. Experience in systems engineering, including integration, design, and test activities. Working knowledge of the full systems engineering lifecycle. Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM), with EVMS or related program management responsibilities. Proven ability to coordinate and manage cross-functional efforts across technical and programmatic teams. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance; U.S. Citizenship required. Additional Qualifications (Desired Skills) CAM certification preferred. Experience in project and/or program management. Experience supporting IRAD execution and proposal development processes. Working knowledge of program cost and scheduling tools. Knowledge of or experience with missile, defense, aerospace, or related systems. Familiarity working with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) customers. Active Secret clearance. Security / Clearance Requirement Secret clearance required; must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain the required clearance.
