Position Overview:

We are seeking a program manager who is passionate about working closely with customers to solve mission-critical challenges. In this important role, you will be engaging directly with our customers, managing project timelines and budgets, and working hand in hand with engineering, finance contracts, and production to deliver customer mission success. As a program manager, you will be the hub of critical relationships powering the engine of growth and success at ARKA Group.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage complex satellite communications programs from contracts through execution and delivery
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, contracts, business development, operations to ensure programs are running within scope and on schedule
  • Liaison between the customer and engineering to ensure customer needs are clearly understood and met through project lifecycle
  • Build and maintain a strong program pipeline work with customers to understand their future missions needs and how AKRA can be a part of that vision
  • Maintain data integrity which includes project milestones, SalesForce opportunity and business projections
  • Oversee and manage multiple programs at the same time including budgeting, contracts, scheduling and risk management
  • Building strong and meaningful relationships with our customers

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in program/project management working with engineers in aerospace, defense, or similar industry.
  • BS from an accredited university
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance
  • Ability to multitask and effectively manage multiple customers and programs
  • Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS in a technical field in engineering, computer science, industrial technology, or similar field
  • Experience in satellite communications, satellite systems, or RF communications
  • Basic understanding of satellite communication principles
  • Experience managing software programs
  • Experience working with US Space Force, NASA, NOAA, or NRO
  • Proficient use of the Atlassian tool suite
  • Experience using SalesForce to track opportunities
  • Active TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance

Pay Range: $110,000 - $180,000

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
