Position Overview:
The Loan Officer (LO) Events Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events that support business development, customer engagement, and loan origination growth. This role partners closely with loan officers, marketing teams, project managers, and external vendors to deliver high-quality events that strengthen relationships with clients and referral partners while aligning with CCM's strategic objectives. The LO Events Manager leads and manages the Loan Officer Events Team, providing direction, oversight, and support to ensure the successful execution of regional and national events. This role oversees event strategy, logistics, budgeting, and performance while fostering collaboration across departments and maintaining a consistent, high-quality event experience. The LO Events Manager manages the CrossCountry Mortgage - Tom Ferry partnership. This role works closely with Project Managers to ensure a strong and impactful presence at nationwide Tom Ferry events. This role oversees event planning and logistics, coordinates participation for loan officers and market leaders, and ensures each event supports key business objectives. The LO Events Manager thrives in a dynamic environment, successfully managing multiple priorities while creating impactful events that drive engagement, strengthen partnerships, and contribute to business growth.
Job Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the Loan Officer Events Team, providing guidance, support, and oversight to ensure successful event execution.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive event strategy that supports loan officer business development, customer engagement, and loan origination growth.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of events, including networking events, open houses, educational seminars, homebuyer workshops, and community outreach programs.
• Identify new event opportunities that align with loan officer objectives, target markets, and company growth initiatives.
• Ensure all events comply with CCM policies, brand standards, and applicable mortgage industry regulations.
• Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown to deliver a seamless, professional, and engaging attendee experience.
• Train, coach, and support loan officers and event coordinators on event planning best practices, customer engagement techniques, and lead generation strategies.
• Support Project Managers by identifying market leads, providing guidance, coordinating event participation, and serving as a key resource for questions leading up to each event.
• Collaborate closely with the Tom Ferry team to coordinate event logistics, maintain organized planning processes, and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
• Manage CrossCountry Mortgage's participation as the official mortgage partner for all Tom Ferry events, ensuring a consistent, professional, and impactful presence across multiple markets.
• Continuously evaluate event performance and identify opportunities to improve processes, increase attendee engagement, strengthen partnerships, and maximize return on investment.
• Travel as needed to support regional and national events, including occasional evenings and weekends.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, event management, or related field, preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in event planning.
• Excellent customer service, leadership, and communication skills.
• Excellent time management, problem solving and prioritization skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Flexibility working evenings and weekends as needed for events.
• Willingness to travel 30% of the year as needed.
