About This Role 
Textron Systems, Uncrewed Sea Systems, is looking for a highly organized individual to assist the Surface Vessel Engineering team in our Sea Systems division.  This position provides administrative support to engineers in their daily activities. Tasks include tracking and managing engineering workflows & metrics, managing engineering meetings and minutes, reviewing and formatting engineering documentation, managing engineering purchases and expense reporting, interfacing with procurement and other departments within Textron Systems, and ensuring documents are under proper configuration management control.

Additional responsibilities include:
    Compile and consolidate data from engineers
    Work with our Integrated Supply Chain to create and track material requisitions and inventory
    Purchase and track engineering equipment
    Generate documentation to support the business line
    Assist with the configuration management of Vessels, ground stations, and supporting equipment.
    Incorporate redlines into documents
    Maintain meeting agendas and minutes
    Ensure action items are worked and closed
    Coordinate and execute movement of material
    Quickly responding to the needs of our remote testing sites, including ordering, shipping, and tracking test equipment, spare hardware and consumables.
    Supporting our equipment in the field by generating reports such as inventory control and open work orders.
    Travel to remote test site to support operational needs. 
    Willingness to travel up to 25%
    Ability to work outside of normal working hours
    Provide logistic coordination for various events
    Assist in keeping lab clean, stocked and certifications up to date

Qualifications:
    Must be self-motivated and proactive 
    Must be a team player / Ability to collaborate well within a large team of multiple disciplines
    Must be able to multitask
    Previous experience with database systems such as SharePoint, JIRA and Microsoft Access is a plus
    Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Must be proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
    Experience with eMatrix or Teamcenter a plus
    Experience reading engineering drawings a plus
    Eligible to obtain a security clearance
    Ability to swim, comfortable on and around water
