SUMMARY

 The Operations/Events Assistant is crucial in assisting the Operations Support Services Department in delivering high-quality events and ensuring all client interactions with CESA 6 are positive and supporting overall agency operations.  


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Communication:

  • Provide event coordination to internal facilitators and speakers for all agency events
  • Support external customers with information about professional development offerings, including registrations, payments, and event details..

Operations/Events Assistant:

  • Answer questions on Events & Payments for Events
  • Coordinate Speaker Contracts
  • Enrollment in LearnUpon for Events
  • Client Satisfaction for all Participant-Level Events and Service Delivery
  • Event and Service Delivery Printing
  • Conference Center Client Assistance
  • Event Coordination including team Meetings, on-site events, off-site events
  • Other duties as assigned


Requirements

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS


Experience, Education, and/or Licensure

  • High school diploma required.  
  • Certification or Associate degree as an administrative assistant is preferred.
  • 2+ years of office experience desired.


Required Skills and Abilities

  • Advanced computer skills, including email, word processing, and virtual meeting scheduling.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google platform applications, along with the ability to learn agency-specific applications to support business operations.
