Job description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor / Event Setup Technician to support daily cleaning operations and event setup/breakdown at a busy convention center environment. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and professional space while ensuring events are executed smoothly.


Schedule

• Flexible shifts (Overnight)
• Includes weekends and holidays based on event schedule


Key ResponsibilitiesJanitorial Duties:

• Perform routine cleaning of public areas, restrooms, meeting rooms, and event spaces
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors
• Empty trash and recycling containers
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces
• Restock restroom supplies
• Report maintenance or safety issues

Event Setup & Breakdown:

• Set up tables, chairs, stages, pipe & drape, and equipment per event layout
• Read and follow floor plans and event diagrams
• Break down and reset rooms after events
• Move furniture and equipment safely
• Assist event coordinators and supervisors during setup
