Job Description

Foster School of Business Master's Program in Student Services has an outstanding opportunity for Program Manager to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

Program Events Logistics and Procurement - (40%):

  • Support Hybrid MBA student opening events; including orientation by assisting with logistics and attending day-of events.
  • Own all event logistics and planning, in collaboration with Director, for the quarterly immersions and end of program including socials, dinners, parking, and networking events.
  • Attend events and serve as main point of contact for students, staff and outside vendors.
  • Execute student events and support student programming, ensuring events are properly set up and staffed.
  • Coordinate with Career Management team to plan and execute programming and the professional development topic areas.
  • Budget management and procard procurement, in collaboration with Director, of catering, venue rentals, parking, swag, awards, special events, etc,
  • Manage program storage room including inventory.
  • Posting student tuition, upass fees, scholarships.
  • Reserving Foster rooms (classrooms, team rooms).
  • Immersion scheduling and communications.
  • Support program graduation logistics on the graduation committee.

Student Engagement and Communications - (40%):

  • Engage with Hybrid staff to determine time of year, agenda, and proper communication to students regarding immersions and events.
  • Engage with and help to assist newly admitted and current students.
  • Coordinate content for canvas announcements, Teams, and any other student communication tools.
  • Respond to student requests coming through the Hybrid MBA inbox.
  • Monitor Hybrid MBA website for outdated information and make updates when needed.
  • Collaborate with staff on student Monday announcements.
  • Collaborate with staff on program surveys, including elective picks, awards, and program feedback.

Hybrid Student Council/Student Interest Groups and Alumni Council Staff Lead - (10%):

  • Serve as the main liaison between the program and the Student Council, and Student Interest Groups including attending meetings, communications, event planning and support.
  • Serve as the main liaison between the program and Career Management team and the HMBA Alumni board including attending meetings, event planning and support, enrollment management and communications in Slack.

Student Onboarding - (10%):

  • Coordinate with Hybrid Admissions ensuring admitted students are added to all internal program lists across multiple systems.
  • Manage student onboarding by contributing to the Hybrid MBA admitted student Canvas page and ensuring students have completed program and university requirements.
  • Collaborate with staff on required student orientations prior to the first quarter.

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this opportunity your application must demonstrate you meet both the minimum qualifications and additional qualifications listed below. Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or similar field,
  • 3 years of professional experience that includes program/event management responsibilities.

Applicants who do not meet these qualifications WILL NOT be forwarded to the Hiring Manager.

Additional Requirements

  • Experience working with various stakeholders including applicants, prospective students, current students, alumni and cross-departmental and cross-university personnel.
  • Experience with collecting, analyzing and reporting data for decision-making.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, presentation skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a group.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to prioritize work and manage complex workloads with frequent deadlines.
  • Technical aptitude with proficiency in Zoom and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook,Teams, PowerPoint,and Access)

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree in related field is preferred.
  • Expertise with working professional graduate online learners.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Slate, Canvas, MyGrad, and Student Database.
  • Experience in public speaking and engaging with diverse groups.
  • Strong team-building and organizational skills.

Working Environmental Conditions:

Must be available to attend evening and weekend events as needed.

Compensation, Benefits and Position Details

Pay Range Minimum:

$68,868.00 annual

Pay Range Maximum:

$81,960.00 annual
