Job description

Aquent is seeking an experienced Event Manager IV for a 7-month onsite assignment in Seattle, WA. This role will support a large annual flagship conference and will own major event workstreams from planning through onsite execution and post-event analysis.

This is a strong fit for a senior event professional with deep experience managing large-scale corporate events, ideally conferences with thousands of attendees. The ideal candidate can operate independently, manage complex timelines, partner across multiple teams, communicate clearly with senior stakeholders, and stay calm under pressure during live event execution.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Own end-to-end delivery of major event workstreams, including content program management, expo planning, onsite execution, and post-event analysis.
  • Create and maintain detailed project timelines, milestones, deliverables, workback schedules, and run of show documents.
  • Manage speaker coordination, expo or showcase planning, contracts, approvals, dependencies, and event logistics.
  • Represent owned workstreams to senior leadership by providing status updates, identifying roadblocks, and recommending solutions.
  • Partner with event managers, design program managers, marketing teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Drive workstreams forward with autonomy, urgency, and clear communication.
  • Lead onsite execution during live events and quickly resolve issues as they arise.
  • Conduct post-event data analysis and provide recommendations for future program improvements.
  • Support high-quality execution across attendee experience, stakeholder experience, and operational delivery.


Essential Qualifications:


  • 7+ years of event management, event production, experiential marketing, or event program management experience.
  • Experience managing large-scale corporate events, ideally 3,000+ attendees.
  • Experience owning event workstreams from planning through onsite execution.
  • Experience using event software such as Bizzabo or similar platforms.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Asana or similar platforms.
  • Strong experience building workback schedules, project timelines, milestones, and run of show documents.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate with senior leadership with polish and confidence.
  • Strong analytical ability and comfort using data and metrics to improve future programs.
  • Ability to work onsite in Seattle, WA.


Highly Desired Qualifications:


  • Experience supporting events at a large technology company.
  • Experience with large event production agencies or experiential marketing agencies.
  • Experience with expo, showcase, or conference floor planning.
  • Experience managing external speakers or content programming.
  • Experience with post-event reporting and analytics.
