Position Overview

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing marketing initiatives and corporate events that enhance brand visibility, support business development efforts, and strengthen client relationships. This role manages the company’s social media platforms, including select executive accounts, ensuring consistent messaging and engagement across all channels. The position also supports the Sales & Marketing team through networking events and administrative support. Working cross-functionally with internal teams, the Marketing and Event Coordinator ensures all marketing activities and events align with company goals, are professionally executed, and contribute to overall company growth and market presence.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

Event Planning & Execution

·        Plan, coordinate, and execute company events, including trade shows, industry conferences, client meetings and outings, networking events, and internal company events.

·        Develop and maintain an industry event calendar identifying opportunities for company participation and brand awareness.

·        Track event outcomes and assist in evaluating event effectiveness and return on investment (ROI).

Marketing & Social Media

·        Manage and maintain the company’s social media platforms by creating consistent, professional, and engaging content, including regularly visiting jobsites and field locations to capture photos, videos, and other content highlighting company operations, projects, and culture.

·        Support executive social media content and coordinate the creation and distribution of marketing materials, including presentations, digital content, and promotional assets, while ensuring consistent messaging and brand standards across all marketing channels and communications.

·        Support graphic design and layout needs for marketing materials and event assets to ensure brand consistency.

·        Manage company promotional items, including sourcing, ordering, inventory tracking, and distribution of branded merchandise and event giveaways.

Brand Development & Visibility

·        Support initiatives that enhance brand awareness, market presence, and client engagement.

·        Ensure all marketing, branding, and event activities align with company values, strategic objectives, and overall business goals.

Work Requirements

·        Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screen and criminal background check

·        Be able to provide valid identification for the I-9 Immigration document

·        Display a professional and courteous attitude

·        Report to work at the designated start time

·        Must be willing and able to travel to work sites within region

·        Be willing to work overtime and weekends when necessary

·        Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated operations and production areas as stated by OSHA

·        Have the willingness to work in a team environment and assist co–workers or supervisors with other duties as required

·        Must have/maintain a valid driver’s license and safe driving record with a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company standards.

 

Qualifications

Required

·        3+ years of experience in content creation, social media management, event coordination, or related roles.

·        Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

·        Ability to travel to client facilities, conferences, industrial jobsites, and company events as needed.

·        Proficiency with Microsoft Office, and relevant software.

·        Exercise independent judgment regarding marketing priorities, vendors, and event planning.

Preferred

·        Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

·        Experience working with General Contractors, EPCs, and Owner-Operators.

·        Existing industry network within refinery, petrochemical, or midstream sectors.

·        Experience with social media management, digital marketing platforms, and basic graphic design tools.
