Job description

We are looking for a fun, skilled, and creative Senior Meetings & Events Planner to plan and execute high-end, large-scale corporate meetings and incentive trips. This person will collaborate with others to organize and manage the logistics for large incentive trips, conferences, &/or multi-day events for the business unit. They will also help with ongoing marketing projects.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning and execution of complex meetings, incentive trips, and special events, including all pre-event and post-event logistics.
  • Collaborate with internal clients, external vendors, and customers to design and manage event details, including venue selection, accommodations, food and beverage, audio-visual needs, and entertainment.
  • Provide expert advice on program design, objectives, financial management, and contingency planning.
  • Conduct contract negotiations, manage vendor relationships, and perform site inspections to ensure event success.
  • Develop event themes, activities, and schedules, and oversee the execution of domestic and international events.
  • Handle budget planning and event management and support related marketing projects.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in event planning, including significant experience with large-scale corporate meetings and incentive trips.
  • Proven track record of successful event management, including project management, negotiation skills, and budget oversight.
  • Robust organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for domestic and international events.
