About the Role

The Event Sales Manager – Social Market is responsible for selling and servicing social events, including weddings, mitzvahs, galas, and other special occasions. This role manages the full event lifecycle, from initial inquiry and proposal through contracting, planning, and event execution.

Key responsibilities include reviewing contracts, conducting hotel tours, and coordinating communication with clients and relevant hotel teams before, during, and after each event to ensure a seamless experience and a high level of service.

The Event Sales Manager – Social Market builds and maintains strong client relationships, participates in and may lead event and staff meetings, and collaborates closely with the Sales and Events teams. The manager also partners with an assigned Administrative Assistant and other support staff to ensure successful event planning and execution.

In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for a quarterly incentive plan based on the manager’s achievement of assigned revenue and customer service goals.

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of hospitality experience within an events or catering team, along with a demonstrated passion for the social events market. Experience selling and servicing weddings, particularly within the South Asian/Indian wedding market, as well as mitzvahs, galas, and other high-touch social events, is strongly preferred.

  • 2 years of hospitality experience within an Events or Catering Team
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Full-service hotel experience or event venue experience strongly preferred
