Manager to oversee event day operations at a
major venue in Minneapolis, MN. In this role, you'll lead event
supervisors and staff, coordinate operational planning, and
ensure every event runs safely, efficiently, and seamlessly.

What You'll Do
As an Event Operations Manager, you will oversee and
coordinate the execution of event operations while ensuring
exceptional client and guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Event Operations Leadership
Coordinate and oversee all aspects of event day

Assign and direct work tasks for Event Supervisors,
Event Staff, and Event Security
Ensure all operations meet client expectations and

Team Management
Supervise, coach, motivate, and train Event
Supervisors
Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, licensing, and
training of event staff
Conduct performance evaluations and provide
recommendations for staff development
Assist with scheduling and workforce coordination
Client & Venue Partnership
Maintain strong relationships with venue leadership
and clients
Respond to client requests and operational needs
during events
Ensure excellent service delivery and customer
satisfaction
Safety & Incident Response
Identify and report operational issues or incidents
during events
Respond to emergencies or operational challenges as
they arise
Assist with incident reporting and investigations when
required
Communicate critical information to leadership and
client partners
Operational Excellence
Support development and implementation of Standard
Operating Procedures
Conduct on-the-job training for staff and supervisors
Ensure operational areas are organized, maintained,
and compliant with company standards
What We're Looking For
Minimum Qualifications
1-3 years of professional experience in event
operations, security, venue operations, or a related field
At least 1 year of customer service, security, or event
operations experience
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to make sound decisions and exercise
professional judgment in fast-paced situations
Ability to pass a background check
Preferred Experience
Event staffing or venue operations
Security operations
Law enforcement, military, or EMS background
Schedule & Availability
This role requires a flexible schedule, including:
Evenings
Weekends
Holidays
Event nights and occasional overnight operations
Candidates must be able to monitor and respond to time-
sensitive communications from clients, staff, and
leadership.
Physical Requirements
This role involves working in active event environments and may
include:
Standing or walking for extended periods (up to 10
hours)
Occasionally lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 45 lbs
Working indoors and outdoors in varying weather
conditions
Occasional climbing, bending, or working in confined
