Job description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a SAP Transportation/Event Management SME to support an agency working with the Department of Defense. This position is fully remote and is an exciting opportunity supporting a high-impact SAP S/4HANA modernization program focused on transforming global transportation visibility, logistics operations, and supply chain management.

Responsibilities
  • Lead SAP TM Event Management strategy, design, and best practices
  • Configure transportation visibility, milestone tracking, and alerting solutions
  • Translate business requirements into scalable SAP TM functional designs
  • Partner with logistics, technical, and government stakeholders to improve operations
  • Support testing, deployment, and continuous process improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
  • 10 years of progressive SAP, logistics, supply chain, transportation management, or enterprise systems experience
  • 5 years experience focused on SAP TM and/or transportation event management capabilities.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting transportation event management, shipment visibility, milestone tracking, exception resolution, operational reporting, and end-to-end transportation processes within SAP TM environments.
  • Experience with shipment tracking, event monitoring, and exception management
  • Proven background supporting federal, government, or DoD SAP programs
  • DoD 8140 IAT Level II Certification required
  • Bachelors' degree
